I still listen to Self-Help and Cult Fiction regularly. Two of the better albums to come out of that scene.
I'd love an EP of full on Scogin craziness, but for a full time vocalist I'd prefer someone who can do the clean singing well too.
well yeah but i guessed that person wanted them to have clean parts in the future still. it's not a crazy preference to have. that said Scogin does plenty of cleans in 68.
ah, yeah you're probably right. I kind of forgot that shows in the future would just be new stuff. That said, I hope they find someone to do some clean and harsh vocals. I enjoyed that push and pull of their music. I didn't know Scogin did a lot of clean singing, I'm mostly familiar with him because of The Chariot, not '68.
I didn't think we were arguing? I like clean vocals and harsh vocals. Part of the reason why I liked ETID so much. I hope the other dudes get together with a vocalist that does both well.
Definitely not arguing at all. Just pointing out that they may not need cleans from a new singer. I would like to hear them myself though, because I though Keith's cleans over some of their music was really good. Like on the chorus of Pretty Dirty.
