It's a weird album in that yes, I do think it runs long, but I can't tell you which song I would cut. I have a few other albums I feel this way about.
Radical is easily my favorite, it is not even slightly close. The vocals are the best they've ever sounded, the music slaps and the lyrics are pretty damn good.
They are both so goddamn good. I feel like somehow Radical elevates Low Teens for me, they're both just on another level.
Low Teens is their best, then I listen to a handful of songs from this and FPU, and I rarely listen to anything else
Low Teens has some of the highest points in their career (Petal, Map Change), but it also features Awful Lot and Religion of Speed, which aren't bad songs, but are the rare ETID songs I will skip.
man…religion of speed has grown on me so much over the past five years - at this point it’s probably a top 3 song on the album for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Two Seasons is whatever and it baffles me how that song made it onto the album over Nothing Visible; Ocean Empty
At this point, I never listen to the original release tracklist of Low Teens and only do the deluxe edition which puts Nothing Visible; Ocean Empty after Cult and Skin Without Bones after Just As Real. Usually deluxe editions just tack on b-sides at the end, but this version flows so well.
I love Awful Lot. Radical and Low Teens are an easy top two. I haven't been listening to The Big Dirty long but it's an easy third for me
FPU>LT>Radical is probably one of the best 3 album runs in hardcore history and I’d take that to the mat any day
jane doe - you fail me - no heroes or axe to fall - all we love we leave behind - the dusk in us would like to have a word but otherwise yes
