I love Daniel but the dude can’t stay anywhere. Norma Jean, Underoath, and now ETID. Goose is a damn good replacement, just curious if this is filler or full time. Norma Jean can’t afford to lose him.
To be fair, did he actually quit/was fired from Underoath or was he simply not asked to be part of their reunion?
Touring can be exhausting (and ETID tours a lot) and sometimes people want to just stay home with their loved ones.
And yeah, NJ "needs" him more, but they need to not BRICKWALL everything on the next album so you can hear how good the dude is.
If that's true, that absolutely sucks. Almost as much as me just now finding out that Dan left ETID. He was a magnificent fit for their style and absolutely killed it on Low Teens. I remember hearing Andy say on the podcast that he wasn't sure Daniel would be up to the task of writing in their style, and he blew them all away. This is a huge bummer, but I'm sure Clay is crushing.
Man, getting rid of Davison in favor of Gillespie is the stupidest thing UnderOath did. (if that's what happened)
It's a real life Spinal Tap. Seriously though, I've never been disappointed with any of the drummers they've had, so I'm sure I won't mind.
Yeah, but I'd prefer no reunion and another record from the Disambiguation lineup. Spencer is a better singer anyways. Let him carry all the duties.
It could still happen down the road but I doubt it'll happen anytime soon. Also, weren't they in a really bad place mentally during the Disambiguation days?
Yup and Aaron (looking back) kind of regrets leaving. He admits that it was pretty stupid and dramatic of him in retrospect.
