I was wondering about those new guitar tunings the other day. The songs you attribute to Drop A sound more like they're played in B standard or in an alternate tuning to me. Idk if they use 6 strings or 7 strings though.

they don't really do a true drop a either, it's just standard drop d but then dropping the d to an a. so aadgbe instead of aeadf#b or agcfad

 

That's what I figured, I love how sludgy it makes them sound like.

 

I love it when they drop to A. They did it on Indian Giver and Moor as well. So much fun to play, although it throws my top string out of tune if I pluck it as hard as I do the other strings.

The video is kind of depressing I think? I love it. 100% my favorite ETID song.

 

The video is great, but I'm still not a fan of Map Change.

I still love about half of it, but the other songs just aren't clicking. And I've listened through it a good amount of times so far :\
