I think I must have said "holy shit" to myself 3-4 times during Just As Real... on my first run through this today. Last 2 records are my favorite in their catalog, but this definitely gives them a run for their money.
Standouts halfway through my first listen. Fear and Trembling, Two Summers, I Didn't Want to Join Your Stu, It Remembers. This is fucking great.
Yeah, I mean now I'm definitely happen I AM seeing them on that tour period but they REEEAAALLLY fuckin deserve a headliner.
Excellent, I posted my attempts at the lyrics a few posts above. Let me know if you hear anything differently, and if you have any ideas as to where I could insert the songs into the regular album, but keeping Map Change as the closer. These tracks are too good to leave off the record.
I've never considered myself a fan of ETID, but I find myself enjoying this one quite a bit. Wasn't big on the opener, but I'm glad I stuck with it a little bit longer.
I think the only portion of Skin Without Bones that I am missing, dont have correct, is where Keiths vocals are distorted. I just cannot hear what he is saying

I love this album. I love these dudes. I've legitimately had this on iTunes repeat nonstop the last few days.
So I think I'm starting to get favorites. I love all of them still, but Religion of Speed, Map Change, and Coin Has a Say are prob my top 3 right now. Also Map Change is like the most perfect closer they've ever had. Like just saying it's a closer and thinking "Oh hell yeah this sounds like a closer to an album".
I don't know why, but Map Change, to me, sounds like a really metal David Bowie song. It's such a huge closer.
Map Change would be a great live closer too. I know the band are really big about how songs are received live and I think that one would go down super well
I finally listened to this. Wasn't expecting so much singing but I won't complain cause Keith's really grown into a very good singer. It remembers was probably my favorite, although anything on the back half could make a fair case for that title
