I think it'd be cool to do a chorus.fm ETID cover compilation...but there'd be like 2 submissions haha
One Word Album Review: Every Time I Die’s ‘Low Teens’ / the NOISE His description of the last bonus track has me wanting this more than ever. Spoiler, it's "Deftones"
Can't get over how good the lyrics are on this, best this year next to Goodness imo, Petal kills me every time
My favorite Keith lyrics come from Idiot and Indian Giver. "All I want is for everyone to go to hell It's the last place I was seen before I lost myself All I want is for everyone to come to hell There we can be free and learn to love ourselves." "As long as your name is on my list or your story written in the choruses then true death couldn't get you. But when its spoken for the last time, the weight is lifted. A third eye. So I make a vow to forget you."
how are they 8 albums deep and still putting out their best material. how. what band fucking does that. making a best of ETID playlist for a friend, what are some essentials yall think should be in it? I got Moor, Ebolorama, Organ Grinder, We'rewolf, It Remembers, Partying Is Such Sweet Sorrow, The New Black, Religion Of Speed, Idiot. What are some others yall would put in?
Illusion is and im shocked to hear this did not know you liked it that much. i need to revisit it its been a while
illusion?! are you crazy??!?!?! the real answer is beggars but im biased with nostalgia so for real its the newest one. but i mean i love that band to death.
Yeah it has been a blast and Low Teens is the gift that keeps giving. We are gonna be talking for a good while.
I feel like the wait and anticipation for the album made it even better. I don't think I have ever anticipated an album as much as low teens, it has been a crazy ride
It's hard to balance between what I think are my personal favorite tracks vs. what I think the essentials would be for a well-rounded playlist. Hmmm, well I think Floater has to be in there just out of sheer importance to their history and setlists. Aside from that, I'd throw in suggestions for Thirst, I Been Gone a Long Time, No Son of Mine, and probably Underwater Bimbos as songs that would be in an ETID "best of" playlist. Personally, I'd throw in votes for Cities and Years, El Dorado, She's My Rushmore, Romeo-a-Go-Go, Business Casualty, Off Broadway, and Imitation is the Sincerest Form of Battery. (And that's with me trying to narrow it down, which I clearly did a terrible job of. Plus, I realized I just named about three-quarters of Hot Damn too.)
