    It's my mum's dodge caravan

Listened to this and really liked it, especially Petal and The Coin Has a Say, but really it all slays. What album/s would you recommend going to after this if you're a relative newcomer to the band?

Do From Parts Unknown first and work backwards from there imo

In the next few days, Ill be getting my ETID Cult Tattoo, based off the shirt design at merchconnection. I'm thinking of doing the whole thing in red, no black outline. My initial idea was bright pink with a black outline, but the size is too small for that to look right.

  10. I think the problem with Two Summers is the vocal melody, it doesn't fit with the music. And Andy was correct in the pudcast, they did the "rock song" better with Awful Lot and It Remembers and I think there's another one in the second half.

Jesus. High praise. Aren't they like 9 LPs deep too? What hits you that hard about it?

The band I compare them most to would be converge in that they keep building on their established sound with just enough tweaks to show evolution while keeping the core of their sound in tact. And like converge, the fact that they're this many records deep helps them rather than hurts them because they've all become so proficient at what they do that they're performing and writing at the highest of their abilities. Not many bands are able to accomplish this but ETID is definitely *that* band. This record is just another big step up for a band that's been stepping it up with every record.

    Eat Snickers, leave garbage.

While waiting until Friday seems like forever, I love that whenever I come back here, there's an entire new page of high praises for this- it makes it more exciting. What and awesomely consistent and rewarding band.

I bet their "bad" songs that they scrap when it comes time to hone an album down to 12-15 songs could be some other bands whole discography.
