I was at the front gyrating and headbanging the entire time, holding my copy of Low Teens haha. Im almost 100% I'm gonna be in the episode of "Dead Set". Now to listen to the CD on the drive home.

 

Awesome did they play anything else or just low teens?

I wasn't sure how I felt about Two Summers on first listen. Digging it on 3rd. The boys from Buffalo did it again.

 

Oh yeah there's a few curveballs in here. I know I'm so stoked

 

Yeah they played werewolf and for others but I didn't know the other ones I'm not too familiar with the other stuff besides from Parts Unknown. That was my introduction to the band.

Damn the singing at the end of Map Change actually got me kind of emotional. Who does Keith Buckley think he is?

 

The greatest lyricist/vocalist of our generation. No big deal

 

We fuckin made it. There were times I had my doubts that the day would ever come haha

 

Petal and C++ are so emotionally brutal

 

Just As Real blew me the fuck away

This is unquestionably their best release

 

i know my friend, we've come a long way. now we can reap the rewards. cant wait to hear your thoughts. ive listened through like 5 times now and i NEVER do that with albums. this thing just rips.

 

How many people were at the show would you estimate? Packed out?

Im not gonna be able to do my tattoo tonight I don't have the necessary tubes. So I'm gonna do a track by track review instead!

 

This rips. This band has one of the most consistently great catalogs.

Probably around 300-400? I'm usually pretty bad at estimates. It wasn't packed out but a pretty solid showing for an album premiere!

 

And my god this album is a beast. Hard to compare to FPU, as that one is now kind of an anomaly in their discog. The chorus of Religion of Speed is one of the best they've ever done

 

Fuck, what? Time to listen to this I guess.

 

I disagree with that it blows it out of the water, as FPU is one of my favorite metalcore releases ever, but it's a completely different beast.

Holding off on a second listen until I can have it in better quality. But fuck, on a Friday night in by myself it sure is difficult haha.
