Also I like this more than FPU if only for how good the production is, even on 128 quality. This shit rips.

 

At a wedding and I doubt they'll let me play this during the band break. Guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow.

 

Alright just finished and maybe it's some hype bias or something but this is among their very best. It's always hard for me to rank their albums but I would strongly consider this in top 3 at the very least.

 

Only got to listen to fear and trembling, and two summers so far. F&T was so sick. Upon first listen I didn't care for TS at all

 

I can't wait to sit down and digest it all. I just listened to the first 2 songs I hadn't heard

 

It Remembers is definitely their best "rock" song since Wanderlust.

Really like Two Summers, fucking LOVED Fear and Trembling. ofc also love C++ and Glitches but ive played them to death already

Petal into Coin is sick.

 

Map Change is a fantastic ender.

 

Religion Of Speed is amazing, so is It Remembers.

 

This blows FPU out the water

 

FPU is amazing so that's some high praise. I can't wait to listen tomorrow morning

 

Keep in mind I dont love FPU like most it probably comes in at around 4th-5th for me

 

Drain the lake, you'll find it's full of love

 

But yeah this album is wild and does some interesting things that I absolutely adored. On listen 3 and I'm just so impressed by how this band keeps stepping it up every album.

Just got home, gotta get the baby to sleep, then its time to listen and soak it all in.

Was I right in my prediction from a few months back, that Religion Of Speed is the Moor of Low Teens?

 

honestly, i think It Remembers is because its a bit gloomy and goth inspired, its almost AFI influenced. Religion Of Speed changes tempo like 3 times and its fantastic. theyre both big standouts imo

First listen and its around as good as FPU, which is not what I was expecting. Fear and Trembling, Petal and Map Change were my favs. If Petal is about what I think its about, its pretty brutal

 

Wonder when we get the b-sides

 

I didnt mean it in the way that it sounds but more along the lines of it being a total curveball of a song lol does that make any sense?
