LOL, them being terrible was not subjective. Gin blossoms were solid and Sugar Ray was one of the best entertainers I've ever seen.
Being bad performers absolutely does not have a bearing on your ability to tour, what a ridiculous statement. Bad live bands consistently are touring, good live bands are consistently touring, bands tour.
I'm beating a dead horse but like Adam from TBS can't sing live but it's still a great time. I've heard Art sounds better now than he did when I saw him though.
o I wasn’t saying being a bad performer would necessarily inhibit the ability to tour …I meant more like it’s just silly to bring up at this point that they aren’t good as people obviously are continuing to go see them
listening to the Sparkle and Fade anniversary edition and I had NO idea that Annabella's Song dated this far back with the band, I had never heard this version but it's so cool to hear knowing the final version so well
Yes the original version of Annabella’s is far superior. It was a B-Side on one of the singles from that album. Happy Hour is cool too
They were never a great live band even in their prime simply because Art isn't a great live singer - BUT I will stand on them being one of the absolute best and most underrated bands in terms of albums/songs of that era. They were without question my #1 favorite band in the 90's and Sparkle and Fade is just untoppable.
