Ugh, It's All In Your Head is my favorite Eve6 record. I doubt the band will ever go back to that sound since that record flopped and that sound isn't "popular" these days.
Lots of albums that stiffed, you can understand the why. But for the life of me I’ve NEVER understood what missed about that one. It had a single. It developed their strengths. It was still relevant to the music being made at the time. It makes no sense!
I just don't think the general public ever really cared about Eve 6 as an album band, they just were the heart in a blender and graduation song band
I thought this was my post at first. I swear I've said this already in this thread, but I'm too lazy to search/confirm. Either way; bless you.
It's a shame they got dropped from RCA before releasing Girlfriend as a single (which was planned). It could have been big. One of if not my favorite Eve 6 song.
Yeah - it seriously bums me out. I remember seeing the video on Fuse (RIP) for “Think Twice” get a good amount of play too but I think between the marketing, the label not caring, and the band being ready to call it a day - the whole thing just flopped.
Bring The Night On is easily one of my favorite Eve6 tracks of all time.. if not my personal top favorite. So good.
This record sounds like a proper follow up to their S/T. I know a lot of folks love Horrorscope but I didn’t like the move to a more polished pop sound. I will say that Amphetamines is still an absolute jam though. Anyways, It’s All In Your Head is exactly what I want from an Eve6 album.
The video for Inside Out has reportedly gained 12 million views on youtube in the past week alone, jumping from 8 million to 20 million. Genius self marketing hahaha
Eve 6 guy is the logical conclusion to DIY "emo" bands who can't make good music so they get popular by being "funny" on twitter
