Eve 6 – “Can We Combine”

Love Eve 6 but no. Sounds like this should have been released as one of Max's side projects.

 

These new eve 6 songs sound anything like eve 6. Waited pretty much a decade for this garbage. Might be better if it was from Fitness or something, but this is not eve 6.

 

I think the verses are odd but that chorus hits quite nice!

Is he just trying to capitalize on his fleeting Twitter fame?

 

Not quite sure why so much hate. Song has guitars in a time when guitar music is dead. Vocals are more modern sounding than the 90s music that if released today would send them straight to the poor house. And they didn’t go straight pop. So what do you expect? This was a decent attempt.

 

I like it better than the first song but it’s pretty out there. It lacks the essential elements that I loved in eve 6, namely the wordplay.
