Eve 6 have released a video for their new song “Black Nova.” The song comes from the new EP, Grim Value, due out June 25th. The band have also signed with Velocity Records and the press release can be found below.

Non-legendary rock band Eve 6 has today announced their new EP grim value. Out June 25th via Velocity Records, the five song EP shows the band returning to their punk roots with fast-paced, aggressive songs. The band is excited to share lead single “black nova,” which will make its debut on KROQ tonight alongside an exclusive interview and two acoustic tracks. Check out the music video and pre-order the EP now at
From the band: “Hi, our band’s called Eve 6. We’re back which is confirmation we’re living in the end times.”
Eve 6 is an established band. The radio has played them over 5.6 Billion times. They’ve had multiple hit songs (“Inside Out,” “Here’s The Night,” and “Promise”). They’ve sold over 3,364,003 albums (they’ve never had an album sell less than 250k copies), and most recently, the band has found a new voice and audience on Twitter, quadrupling their followers in just a couple of weeks.
The viral attention has led to high-profile press from Rolling Stone, Spin, and even The Washington Post, all discussing how front man Max Collins is more than just the King of Music Twitter.
Eve 6’s new EP grim value is the release they would have made had they never been plucked by the mid 90’s major label machine. While grim value is a new chapter in the band’s material, it’s very clearly still from the book of Eve 6 and will resonate with the band’s current fanbase.
Eve 6 has caught a strong second wind, and grim value is a release that will stand the test of time. Pre-orders for grim value are available now at

  4. That press release makes me

I've been a casual fan throughout the years, and really enjoyed It's All In Your Head. This one didn't do it for me but looking forward to hearing the EP.

Eve 6 are one of my favourite bands ever, but this might be the worst song I have ever heard from them.

Selfishly for my own entertainment, I kinda hope that Max is just REALLY committed to self-deprecating humor enough to troll everyone with a bad song

It's alright but I hope the rest of the EP is a bit better.

I don’t know what I expected from a new Eve 6 song in 2021 tbh.

Speak In Code was pretty enjoyable. This isn't but I had low expectations after that side project of his

I have never really been a fan of this sound. I don’t know how to describe keys, new Green Day? Anyway, it’s really bland and nothing like what I dig about eve 6. Hope they lean back into their melodic sensibilities, that’s why I loved them. Horror scope is classic stuff.

Hey guys what if we wrote a shitty Billy Idol song.
  16. It was just last month when these guys became more punk than Dead Kennedys.

I was hoping for something like their Eleventeen ep or the first album based on the description but this song sounds nothing like how they described it in the release...

The "it gets turbulent" pre-chorus sounds like it belongs in a bad Tim + Eric sketch? Not at all what I expected, or hoped for!

I'm not really familiar with any old Eve 6 but this is definitely not as bad as everyone is making it out be. :crylaugh:

Ok. He blew up on twitter by being kind of self-deprecating, funny, and self aware. What a cool guy. I bought in.

Then he started shitting on younger bands (specifically warped tour bands). Never mind. I clocked out.

Then he signs to a label that primarily releases music by warped tour bands... huh.

    Then he releases this. lol.
