wow "the thought of maybe being a good person is what keeps me trying to be a good person." what a powerful episode
That was extremely well written and acted. I didn't think of an episode of this show that was entirely an hour long conversation between two characters would be able to hold my attention but it really did Did anyone else feel a huge sense of dread when Ali stepped out for cigarettes and to make the phone call? Something about the way that scene was done convinced me something bad was about to happen, like he was going to buy drugs or got robbed and killed or something
I am not sure this episode would have worked quite as well for me had it been in the middle of a season, but being that this was released as a stand alone episode it worked phenomenally well. The performances from Zendaya and Colman Domingo were top notch. I hope that whatever we get in part two lives up to this level. Also, I saw that it was announced today that part two premieres January 24th.
The way the camera panned around him like that I absolutely expected someone to be right behind him at some point. Glad it didn't go down that way.
Just watched the special ep. Incredible hour of television. One of the best things I've seen this year.
I KNEW Colman Domingo sounded familiar and turns out he plays Eddie the fly in the Michigan episode of Bojack. So many parallels between that wonderful series and this episode.
Damn. Finally watched the special. As someone three years clean from opiates that conversation was incredibly too real. Damn.
Absolutely loved the new episode. Hunter is so damn talented. It’s wild this is her first acting job.
