Levinson’s idea for Rue in the first pass at the season was batshit lol. There was a five year times jump and he had her in a background role working as a private detective.

Also sounds like Zendaya had significant input and she did not like the full scripts that he sent in.

 

Honestly the part of Season 1 where Rue connected all the dots in the Nate Jacobs conspiracy together was incredibly satisfying, so having her play a detective in Season 3 would have been super interesting. Maybe she could be traveling connecting the dots between all the characters living in different cities, or trying to take down Marie. Idk I feel like that could've been an entertaining show.

The surrogacy idea is absolutely bonkers though, jesus christ Zendaya.

 

Both ideas are terrible.

 

Damn. Almost like Levinson should have let Amy Seimetz do her thing on “The Idol” instead of taking it over and losing focus on his cash cow.

I watched every episode and have no regerts. That show sucked ass, but that finale was such an embarrassing mess that it was worth it.
