Going against the grain a little bit but that was instantly a top 3 episode in my eyes, I love when the show gets surreal. Have no idea what's going to happen next week, I feel like they're going to throw us off regarding the Fezco situation. I could see Faye killing Ash accidentally while the latter is attacking her boyfriend. Other than that, I'm coming up blank.
I liked the tension of not knowing whether Fez was going to make it to the play but did we have to see all of the actual play??? Fez (and Ash) is the best part of this show
I loved the episode last night, and I don't have a problem with the unrealisticness of this show but... I laughed hysterically everytime they changed the sets in Lexi's play, because I have to think about the decision making process that led to Lexi getting this funded. My high school had two plays a year, and the sets were just painted backdrops 50% of the time, and on the ocassion they'd have more expansive, multi-room sets, they were still static "doll-house" designs, and cost thousands of dollars What on god's green earth did Lexi have to do to secure the tens of thousands of dollars this play must have cost? Who did she threaten? What teachers got fired?
Yeah I thought about the sets the entire time. But whatever everything about this show is unrealistic.
Also, I have a feeling Lexi's cast & crew is gonna turn on her next episode because she's so drunk on power that she's become borderline abusive to the whole team.
I loved that ep. The way it intercut the real memories of things happening with the play, everyone's reactions during the play, Lexi running the play like a tyrant. Worried about Fez. Even if it ends up being Ashtray biting the dust, that'll break Fez. Bathroom scene reminded me of a similar scene from I, Tonya.
Spoiler alert for anyone who doesn't watch the "next on Euphoria": I feel like there's no way Fez doesn't either die or go to jail right? It's clear that his house gets raided and at least somebody gets shot. No Fez next season is just such a drag, I hope I'm wrong. Spoiler alert for a podcast I cannot wait to listen to:
As long as Fez is alive, they're gonna keep him in the show next season. I think if he gets arrested, they're gonna focus on his time in prison, or maybe he'll escape and have to stay on the run. Regardless, I can't imagine Angus leaving the ensemble.
The doors leaving Laurie's place were padlocked shut, too, right? Rue wasn't just trying to break into the drug closet?
Incredible quote from this interview (I’m on mobile and can’t get the link inserted, Angus Cloud and Chase Sui On Skateboarding, Cartoons, and Celebrity) where he and Chase Sui Wonders trade questions back and forth
I refuse to believe he’s a professional actor and is actually just a kinda white trashy drug dealer that they found. He legit looks/sounds/acts like exactly those types of dudes around here I used to know growing up.
if sam is hiring real porn stars and people with zero acting experience it isn't out of the question that being said, he's one of the best performers on the show
I’m not sure of the full story but I’m that interview I posted he does mention that he had never thought about acting and then someone came up to him and said he should consider it. I’m excited to see him start to branch out
I know some people theorized Fez is gonna have to go rescue Rue from Laurie next episode. The evidence isn't super convincing, but it still makes sense.
