someone on TikTok went to her show a couple days ago, and she apparently said vinyl is coming next year.

 

I listened to this after seeing it on some year end lists and I really love it. It’s a little long but I like each song. I’ve had to have listens to this every day this last week

 

I still wish more of this album sounded like “American Teenager”.

 

Recently been obsessed with this album - some heartbreaking storytelling here

 

I've been spending time with Inbred and I absolutely adore that too. I'm so excited for whatever she does next.

 

I didn’t know she used to make music under the name White Silas, I thought this was her first project.

 

White Silas was definitely more of a different vibe/ifyyk

like this is a banger for the clubs

 

This fucking album. Feel horrible being so late to the game, Ethel is amazing.

 

Gods Country is so good.

 

Yeah that's my favourite on that one. Michelle Pfeiffer and Inbred are incredible too.

 

I’ve come around to this record quite a bit. Really excited for what she does next. I heard she may be retiring the Ethel Cain moniker but we’ll see.

I read she was planning on doing three albums and three generations of women in the family, I'm hoping that's still the case because it sounded like it was going to be amazing and get even darker from here.

 

Yeah it’s going to be a trilogy with Preacher’s Daughter, Preacher’s Wife (her mother) and Preacher’s Mother (grandmother).

She even hinted at a Willoughby centered project.

Willoughby is a companion EP to Preacher's Daughter - with a number of B-sides. iirc, it'll be released at the same time as physical copies of PD - acting as a deluxe edition for CD and vinyl

Preachers Daughter is a must have vinyl. Just wanna be in my basement coding for work with the lights off with that MF blasting.

 

I love this album but if eventually there was an album of songs that were more in the vein of the song American Teenager it would probably be my AOTY that fictional year lol
