Barry Bonds at 38 is insanely low since they are including him on the list. 3-4 of the greatest hitting seasons of all time in the 2000s. Bonds had a .609 OBP in 2004 and .582 in 2002. Also, controversial take but Lance Armstrong should make the list too if Bonds is included.
kershaw is the pitcher of his generation, candace parker should be higher in general but so should kershaw
i know they both qualify for this but i don’t really consider them the same generation, rivera is 20 years older than kershaw haha. but yes. i agree, he’s better.
Oh wow, I knew Michael Phelps was going to be high up, in the top 25 or even possibly 10 for sure but I was not expecting number one. I do not have an issue with it though, he really was just so dominant all those years, but I personally probably would have gone with LeBron just due to when he started, how long he is going, and how dominant be still is to this today. Also Tiger only number 8 is a bit surprising but maybe they factored in his (mostly) fall off over the years and Federer over Djokovic is surprising too
also it seems odd to exclude Armstrong but include Bonds … like, if you’re going to remove a dominant athlete bc they cheated, you kinda can’t pick and choose with that
thought for sure Serena or Lebron would be 1 but no real issue with Phelps. Tiger at 8 feels right, maybe even a few spots higher than he should be considering the others around him. He's still the GOAT but looks just awful nowadays.
