Yea that doesn't sound anything like the songs they released a couple years ago... I don't know how I feel about that single kinda sounds like EOTC meets Michael Jackson but still excited for the release!
I can dig this single. Funky as hell. Couldn't agree more with @LionInMyPocket's "EOCT meets Michael Jackson" comparison.
Envy did a small show on Long Island right before the new year and donated the proceeds to Planned Parenthood. My close friend Val received the donation from Ryan. She was so excited when she told me she received it and decided to write something back to them. They just posted it on their Twitter and she's freaking the fuck out right now
Anyone here like a huge fan of this band? I'm not asking this in a condescending tone, I need to know
Absolutely. Think they could have had one hell of a discography if they continued. Lowcountry is still a jam, and was a HUGE step forward for the band.
Enormous fan. One of maybe 3 bands I would actually make an effort to see if they ever came back to Pittsburgh
If any of you care to take it, the first one of you to quote me I'll mail you a little postcard sized picture of the band from the Lowcountry era that is signed by all of them. I know it's kind of random, I just have it from buying all their records on vinyl way back in the day and I'm sure there is bound to be someone that would want it more than I do.
That'd be such an awesome thing of you to do! If it's cool with you I'd happily hang it on my wall at home
Lowcountry is a record that means the world to me. I didn't appreciate it when it first came out but now it's easily in my top 10 records of all time. I loved Lucy like everyone else but that record has aged a little bad for me but Low is still timeless.
show was good last night. envy only went on at 11 and the venue got pissed when they went past midnight. someone from the venue ran on stage and flipped a shit right before the last song. hell of a sight to see. new song
