There’s a theater here that still shows First Cow every few months. They keep the poster up in a corner of the lobby. No idea why. Great movie though
Re-releasing those films sounds nice until you read the full article and it is like a half dozen theaters across this huge country.
It isn't your fault. The studios and publicists do it all the time. I keep seeing ads for the Kill Bill re-release and you would think that would be in a lot of theaters but it is going to be a half hour away.
They were planning on doing an American remake of Battle Royale but it ended up getting scrapped because they thought people would think it was the one ripping off The Hunger Games.
I don't think that's fair, it's one thing to pay homage and another to take the entire premise. That's been a criticism of Hunger Games since forever.
I completely forgot about The Vast of Night. Liked that one a lot. Would be rad if I someday got to see it in a theater.
really horrendous acting but I liked it otherwise. Not crying that I didn’t see it in a theater though.
