Does anyone know what the difference is between "Open Caption (On-Screen Subtitles)" and "Norwegian Spoken with English Subtitles"?
Open caption may be where they give you the device thing for captions? They’re not actually on the screen
i'm assuming open caption also includes SDH subtitles (subtitles for the deaf/hard of hearing), so probably additional on-screen text for specific noises/actions
exactly. our local indie theater was offering them for Frankenstein a few weeks ago, and i think they described it as that
