I can think of at least three good shark movies

 

Every time I enter a library I look at everything in awe and ask myself why the hell don't I come here more often haha

Said this in the horror thread but lukewarm take: Adams Family Values is on the list of “sequels better than the original” movies IMO

 

Jaws is far and away the best animal movie bringing sharks up above all dog, horse, snake, and monkey movies

Deep Blue Sea is probably the second best shark movie and it is still incredibly stupid. The plot of the movie is that the sharks are manipulating people into flooding their facility because they know that the upper fences are not as strong. A shark knows this information because they were injected with drugs to make them smarter.

ahem they were injected with drugs to make their brains larger so they could harvest more brain juice to cure Alzheimer’s. As a side effect, the sharks got smarter.

 

The most jarring part of Deep Blue Sea is when the lead scientist woman gets killed at the end and apparently she originally lived but test audiences blamed her for everything so they had to do a quick reshoot and add it in.
