When villains wait to surprise the hero in some sort of cave or hideout, what do they do to kill the time? They don't seem to have WiFi.
How many times a day can you really do that, though? Subtracting meals and a good nap you are still looking at a long day.
probably a lot if you’re committed, villains who have the time and wherewithal to hang out in a cave all day, waiting to beat the shit out of someone, are not particularly well-adjusted to begin with
tbf I feel like that trope is usually for movies in set in the olden times when no one did anything anyway , like what are they doing in Shakespeare plays when they're not all dying for no reason
It is in the newest Mission Impossible. The villain is in this lair in the middle of nowhere. They probably can't play online games.
Another one is where a character waits in the other characters' home in the dark, waiting to surprise them. Imagine waiting hours and then having to pee for a minute and messing up the whole thing.
Anton Chigurgh sitting there soaked when Carson Wells walks in. Depending on diet the smell might give you away.
You can't solve the question by assuming they're normal people who need to be entertained. These are villains, they are not ok in the head, they're probably just walking around and staring at walls
The hero pulls up to their home that is supposed to be dark and empty but the villain is sitting in the chair with his brightness at max watching TikToks and you can see it through the window.
How often are you all rewatching films? What’s up with the youth watching movies 30 times in a year? Since I’ve started my letterboxd, the movie I’ve watched the most is Christmas Vacation at 6 times. I assume I’ve watched it every holiday season. Outside of holiday watches or me logging films that I watch with my classes, the most I’ve rewatched a movie in the past 10 years is 3 times.
