She's a fucking nutjob.. a person who's old enough to be Timmy's grandma is obsessed with him to the point that is scary and doesn't even acknowledge his gf at all and pretends she doesn't exist plus she's an Zionist piece of shit .. actually I am rooting for The Rock to get Oscar nominated and win just to see her have the most epic of all crash outs!!
I happened to be scrolling through TikTok and they had a list of Best Actress winners. Still Alice? Judy? The Eyes of Tammy Faye? Does anyone even remember these films? The actors that win can command a higher salary and their marketing team probably gets paid but the way regular people get crushed over wins and losses is fascinating.
I saw a TikTok with Eddie Murphy where he was still championing "Norbit" and talked about how people said it hurt his chances to win the Oscar for "Dreamgirls." First off, I love that he isn't backing down from enjoying that movie and also, he should have won the Oscar. Alan Arkin was fine in "Little Miss Sunshine," but Eddie deserved it and if not that, than "Dolemite Is My Name," a movie that I think would be considered a comedy classic, if it wasn't lost in the Netflix pile.
I saw that too. It is better than the approach of actors who denigrate their own films because reception was bad. You are the one who agreed to it! Maybe things changed from what your expectations were but most of the time it is just following the trend.
Never saw dreamgirls but Arkin is pretty good in little miss sunshine. “at my age you’re crazy to not do heroin”
Probably has added emotions considering he wrote it with Charlie Murphy. Either way, was ridiculous the rumor was he lost the Oscar because of that.
‘The Breakfast Club’ Returning to Theaters in Celebration of 40th Anniversary 'Breakfast Club' Returning to Theaters for 40th Anniversary
As great as the movie is, it is too easy to walk away thinking it is all Nedry's fault when the blame lands squarely on Hammond.
Saw some of that Pete Davidson interview on the Breakfast Club. Damn I kinda feel bad for the guy. He ended Bubkis after one season voluntarily because he was sick of his entire career being hyperfocused on his personal story, public image, and traumas; and he was basically blacklisted by NBCUniversal (minus some Lorne/SNL stuff) for the foreseeable future after he chose to walk away. Props to him for taking control over his career and trying to reinvent himself. Also props to him for taking care of the Bubkis crew out of pocket when he left.
