I feel like Taylor Sheridan plots now are basically like South Park’s parody of Family Guy jokes, except the orcas are putting together different scenarios where it’s a disgraced/retired/unhinged CIA operative/cop/soldier who’s forced into going against some greater evil.

 

Is that a major cast? I have only heard of two of four.

Trying to remember a movie or tv show that’s within the last few years with like an older guy as a cult leader and he’s taking directions through a speaker in his office or something? That’s all I can remember about it.

A question about making movie threads. Do you guys put the limited release date in the title or the wide release date?

 

"Wide" is subjective; they will call a film wide when it is 100 theaters. I think it is best to use the initial American release date.

 

It is a tiny pet peeve of mine when a movie’s release year will be listed somewhere as one year when in reality it only played at some film festival that year and didn’t actually become available to the broader public until the following year

 

I ask because i just made a thread where it's getting a limited theatrical release to make it award eligible and then getting a Netflix release less than a month later. So I wasn't sure which date to put. I dunno if it matters that much anyway
