Bring the show back

 

I know “Evangelion rules and is worth your time” is an obvious statement, lol, but. It does. Revisiting this movie on the big screen re-emphasized that for me.

Kinda wish now that I’d also seen the showing of the “Death” movie or whatever (that’s basically a clip show of the series plus the beginning of EoE) on Tuesday.

 

As someone who is both trans and Asian I am doubly excited

--buuuut I haven't seen anything Blade Runner before...

definitely watch the two movies. there's also an anime on Crunchyroll, iirc, but i have yet to watch it

 

2049 was a transcendent experience for me in theaters

 

witnessing that sea wall scene on the big screen was one of my favorite moments in a movie theater

 

that paired with the Hans Zimmer score that rocked my ass.. peak

 

also if you're watching the first movie, there are multiple cuts out there. the Final Cut is the one you want.

 

Great movies but also something I don’t care to see constantly expanded upon through other media.

I grew up with a 2nd/3rd generation (my grandfather was born here IIRC but moved back to Italy for a few years as a teen before coming back here) italian american dad who liked to cook, I remember him watching Emeril a lot in the 90s lol. Lots of yelling "bam!" in the kitchen

 

80's crime thriller marathon today. Manhunter, Thief, and now am watching To Live and Die in LA.

 

Thief is my favorite movie. Manhunter and to live and die in la are up there too.

Wait how the absolute fuck was Thief nominated for a Razzie for Worst Film Score? That was one of the coolest scores I have ever heard.

It's no wonder why Rockstar got Tangerine Dream to produce the score for GTA V.

 

The best amount of thought to put into the Razzies is zero. Deeply boring and foolish and unfunny.

 

I don't either. I am just getting mad while reading Wikipedia that anyone in 1981 would think that was bad lol
