Fuck David Zaslav aside.. Warner Bros r on one hell of hot streak so far this year!

 

The Roses looks like a fun romp with a good cast. Probably won't see it in theatres though.

 

I will never see it because I’ve seen that trailer before every movie the last 3+ months

 

Zazlav aside, it’s pretty amazing that their successes have been a mix of IP and original movies instead of something like Disney that’s just IP.

There just isn't that much to mine from the Terminator universe. It was a miracle that the second one inverted the original film and worked so well.

 

That’s the best part, he doesn’t have to write a new one!

 

I enjoyed Dark Fate and I am probably the only one who liked Genisys but the well has been dry for a while. It was never about the tech.

 

One of my new students is a MacGruber fan. I might have to call it already for favorite student of the year.

 

I follow the barstool movie podcast (now cancelled)’s ig and it is very funny to see 1-2 of the guys rating marvel movies and the third watching DePama and John Carpenter movies
