Casper Van Dien did a panel with Paul Verhoeven and it was very clear that he hadn't really understood any of the deeper themes at all, which is probably honestly good for his immersion in the role.
Just dropping in to say this thread is such a great spot to catch random gems—music recs, show chatter, and all the little side convos in between. Lately I’ve been bouncing between bingeing some old sitcoms and rediscovering albums I forgot I loved. Amazing how certain tracks or scenes hit totally differently now. With History of the World Part II I think he deferred a lot of creative stuff to Ike Barinholtz and Nick Kroll. Wondering of it's gonna be the same here.
