Dakota Fanning, Jake Johnson, Cory Michael Smith Join Joe Swanberg Movie

all the blank check hosts and producers have alluded to “we don’t talk about joe swanberg anymore” type stuff so i always assumed there was something unsavory and he just retreated away. they never expanded though

 

Of course they would do this after the summer movie season has already peaked. It’s like when they tried premium priced seats. They ran with it for like six months and got rid of it because it was stupid.

Feel like the damage is probably already done for some. Anyone that went to see Superman, Fantastic Four, Lilo, etc. already has in their mind the stupid amount of trailers and commercials. People don’t forget that.

lol when I saw the OP my first thought was “I could maybe come up with one for Battlefield Earth”

 

What really surprised me when I saw Naked Gun at an AMC last weekend was that in the middle of the movie trailers they played an ad for some new kind of smart phone. Regular ads encroaching on movie ad space. Disgusting

Another annoying thing is that there were 2-3 of the AMC-specific ads (eg the Nicole Kidman video). Why do they feel the need to promote their own company *at* their company so much? Everyone in the theater already knows of it and paid to enter

It’s so weird the VMAs are gonna be on CBS this year. Like, we’ve truly reached old person territory.

This one really is a top 5 X-Files episode easily and one of Brad Dourif's best TV guest spots

 

brad dourif fans whomst haven't seen Exorcist III.................get on that immediately. that's peak dourif right there.
