I’m seeing it tomorrow with Heidi Gardner as a special guest for some kind of local fundraiser and I’m wondering how everyone’s gonna respond.
My friends and I are going to that in a few hours actually haha. It's an indie animation show that started on YouTube but it's also on Netflix. (Think Helluvaboss/Hazbin Hotel on Prime.) Heavily inspired by I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream (so I've heard). It's only one season and the ninth episode/finale is playing in theaters a few weeks before it's released on streaming. Like Helluvaboss/Hazbin, it's gained kind of a cult following to where its fans and its haters are equally annoying. So check out the show itself if you're interested but steer clear of any online discourse
My friend recommended it to me about a month ago and I absolutely loved it. I'm very excited to see the final part this weekend.
they showed a trailer for it when we saw Mando in IMAX. more power to the fans, but it looked weird to me
it is... but it's got some good heart to it, and it can be quite silly as well. fwiw i mostly enjoyed the finale. i wouldn't say it's a must-see in theaters (which would require marathoning the previous seven episodes--i think this theatrical release is more for longtime fans, who btw were very vocal in their reactions to everything) but if anyone's interested in ever checking it out somewhere down the line, rest assured it ends on a pretty high note
