Despite liking Billie Eilish and Big Jim, I found the 3-D concert movie kind of boring and the editing borderline unbearable.
I have never even thought about "what's the coolest action movie gun?" before I like a good late 80's/early 90's Uzi forward action movie personally. Also 1970's .45 revolver movies are pretty cool too.
Yeah that was around 2019. I remember Scott said he loved it and proactively gave that school permission and his encouragement to adapt Gladiator Then Covid happened.
i don't really buy magic anymore but my friends did buy boxes of ATLA and Final Fantasy for us to draft together, so that was fun. i don't mind having other IP in MTG, i just think there's been maybe too many, outnumbering the regular sets. since they've already opened this can of worms, the least they can do is try to find a better balance.
yeah the crossover IPs for MTG are ridiculous these days. FF and Avatar were cool, but who the hell asked for Spider-Man and TMNT???
The Spider-Man set sold terribly at the comic shop where I work (which is funny; if there’s an overlap in those audiences, it should be there).
i think that was more due to the fact that it was a poorly designed set from a gameplay standpoint. from what i've heard, sets like ATLA and FF had at least some cards that were playable with other sets, and even the cards that weren't at least had mechanics that made formats like draft and sealed interesting. the Spider-Man cards weren't good outside the set and weren't good by themselves either.
