when my childhood friends and i all got back together to see Anchorman 2, a handful of them dressed up in suits and snuck Subway footlongs in their jacket sleeves
I used to exclusively get Twizzlers or Reese's pieces when I went to the movies but nowadays I just get popcorn to cut down on sugar, or no food at all tbh
Also, at AMC, if you’re flying solo, the kid’s pack combo is the best. Just enough popcorn, a soda you can refill and some stale ass gummy bears for $9. All good things.
Hard for me to justify theater prices for buncha crunch but I’ve brought them in from a local dollar tree plenty of times I do like the starburst minis too
The best thing about movies hanging on by a thread is the workers there do not care what age I am, they’ll just give me the kids combo.
I usually have to go to an AMC but the last two times I went to a theater it was a Cinemark and their large popcorn is out of control. No one should be eating a large popcorn by themselves but this takes it to the next level.
I totally ate a large popcorn to myself at IMAX the other week when I saw Project Hail Mary but I also didn't have dinner before going lol. To be fair, this cinema's large was not their largest size
This is the most bizarre statement I've ever heard when it comes to moviegoing but I always have to fight people when I say a pickle spear is a great snack so I'll give this one to you
On a related note, when my sister was recently visiting from out of state, we met up to hang out at my moms, and a mutual friend came in with a giant box and slammed down jars of home made pickles in front of each of us that he grew and pickled himself, completely unprompted lol
My mom does some pickling from cucumbers in her yard and gives me some when I visit, they're very good
my mom and i often pickle carrot and radish, goes with a lot of vietnamese dishes we also buy kimchi pretty regularly. we could probably make that too but we're not korean so we don't already know how
