Yeah, but the streaming deal doesn’t include merch, as far as I can tell. The only cool thing about this is it hopefully keeps Casa Bonita open. I really can’t stand South Park.

 

Mario is a centrist Democrat. Bowser regularly kidnaps the princess and threatens to destroy the kingdom but once he is out of power Mario preaches bipartisanship and invites Bowser go karting and partying and everything else.

 

I imagine some of those things drive people to the show, though. They had two very well received video games recently. It is much easier to forget that Colbert is on the air.

There were so many iconic clips from the Letterman and O'Brien shows but I can't really think of much from this new crop. Maybe the Kimmel one where parents pretend to eat all the Halloween candy?

I imagine most of the viewership is people who grew up on the show and is in the higher end of that age bracket. I'm curious how many new/young people are getting into South Park now.

A 2007 list without I'm Not There is silly. I guess they don't watch non-English movies. People talk about Michael Clayton much more today than they do Juno.

 

Having just rewatched No Country, I am very confused as to how anyone could think it is better than There Will Be Blood. A good movie, sure, but not even close to the best Coen movies.

 

Speaking of “Michael Clayton,” I never heard this story before.

 

There Will Be Blood is clearly better, but in the immediate aftermath of watching No Country for Old Men I can see how people would prefer it. It is such a ride until the very end. Also, a lot of the chatter back then revolved around it being the Coen brothers' "turn".

 

Both are great

 

Honestly, sounds like a great combo. Both fantastic comedic actors.
