My favorite thing I read in 2024. I guess Ryan Murphy is making the series. I thought it was at HBO for some reason.

 

Yeah it might be my second favorite Ellis book, with Less Than Zero being my favorite book full stop

 

That list is very weird to me

 

diaz is the only one there that doesn't make sense since i don't think she was in anything last year. everyone else had pretty huge projects

Watched Urchin tonight. Very interested in whatever Harris Dickinson does next.

I believe most of those big paychecks were because of streaming. They take the big check since they can’t make money on the back end.

Diaz probably got that big check to come out of retirement to star in that Jamie Foxx Netflix comedy no one remembers.

“Movies I’m watching 1-3 months after I should have” I’m guessing, it’s why he was watching Independence Day on Halloween

 

I am watching the most popular films on Letterboxd that came out 20+ years ago. I have had to suffer through The Princess Diaries 1 and 2, Shrek 1 and 2, The Day After Tomorrow, Chicken Little, Shark Tale, 8 Mile, Freaky Friday, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, 3 Harry Potter movies, and now Love Actually. Harry Potter 3 and Love Actually were probably the least odious.

 

Why do that to yourself lol

 

I take a break from real movies once I finish a year. I am in video game and maybe TV show mode now although I will make an exception for Magellan next week.

 

I guess you're free to watch whatever bad movies you feel inclined to

But also fuck JKR

 

So damn hyped for Magellan. Will be watching that as soon as it drops
