The stress of owning a defunct Staten Island ferry does horrors to the body

 

Scored Killing Eve s2-3 on DVD for five bucks each at my local used book store--and I haven't even started the first season yet (which I bought like a year ago). Heard it falls off towards the end, I guess we'll see

Was looking up upcoming movies in 2026 and I am very intrigued by this new Spielberg flick that all we know about the plot so far is that it'll involve UFOs and pro wrestling.

 

Had not heard about the wrestling part.

 

I don't know how big of part it'll play but they put out a casting call for extras to play wrestling fans, and Chavo Jr, Lance Archer, and Brian Cage are in the cast. If Chavo is involved it must also mean he's doing wrestling stunt coordination behind the scenes as well. It may be just one segment.

 

Spielberg and UFO already had my money, but that's even better.

 

The wrestling has me less interested.

Well when someone gives ET a Texas Cloverleaf I do not want to hear a peep from you.

 

Also intrigued by this Iñárritu film starring Tom Cruise that is supposed to be a comedy.

Those shows are dinosaurs but it should have been Fallon.

 

They’ll bring it back eventually.

 

What makes you say that? They never replaced Corden when he left the Late Late Show. They didn't replace O'Brien on whatever channel he was on. They cut the band from Seth Myers. It is a dying format. There will probably be a few small streaming-based platforms, but the huge contracts for these guys is unsustainable.

What is unfortunate about Colbert going first is that Fallon will get a boost of viewers switching over, and if Kimmel goes next it get even worse. As for Colbert, it was his least interesting gig going all the way back to Strangers with Candy.

 

Fallon needs to stay on for Sofi
