Probably, but it does beg the question if Sparks and Night know who Tate Donovan is or if both these things got made and no one was like, "you know that's already a guy, right?"
I hate how comedy as a film and tv genre is at such a lull that so many good comic actors basically only do commercials and/or podcasts now. like Ellie Kemper starred in a huge streaming comedy 6 years ago, huge career high, and the biggest thing I have seen her in post-pandemic is being the spokeperson for Kohl's. Also lot of good recent SNL vets seem to only do commercials now.
I don't really remember it too much, but think that Disney+ She-Hulk show minus all the superhero shit.
All I know about Ally McBeal is that Flockhart was always in the grocery store tabloid covers with Harrison Ford.
I tried to watch it last year. Only got a few episodes in but it was fun. My parent's loved it back in the day.
Ally McBeal is one of those shows I remember airing as a kid but have no clue what it’s about, what the tone is, who is in it, etc. It’s like a name on an empty file in my pop culture knowledge. Dancing baby coming from it is both a shock and the only thing I now know about it lol
