Just finished the annual tradition of watching it’s a wonderful life - a perfect movie

Anaconda was terrible. I think it got one laugh out of my whole theater.

reigniting the Home Alone discourse since FX is showing the first two back to back. 2 is fine, but an unnecessary carbon copy down to repeated dialogue and cinematography

 

In the second Home Alone Deuce Bigalow is waiting for Kevin with his pizza outside but it is December in New York. That pizza is going to get ice cold.

 

had to do a double take when i saw Rob Schneider in the credits. been a decade or so since i've seen the second one

I watched Tokyo Godfathers, It’s A Wonderful Life, and Marty Supreme in the last two days. Feeling spoiled right now

 

Watched “A Christmas Story” with the family. Much sharper than I remember and it’s tough to find a movie with such a succession of iconic scenes.
