Yeah I am rooting for Wagner Moura or Michael B Jordan to win Best Actor just to see this guy's face crash out
if he really is that good (and he often is) is it bad that he knows it/acts like it? i guess arrogance in general is an unattractive trait, but it's not like he's not consistently delivered
I have seen Marty Supreme at a press screening.. I was the plus one! And he was really good and will probably be Oscar nominated but he needs to set expectations low because if he keeps saying I am gonna be the greatest, and a oscar winner but if he loses on Oscar night then he's set himself up for disappointment
he's just a theater kid whose favorite music is rap of course he's like that lol, but I also find it annoying when people are like I don't care about the awards or the money it's just about the art which is total bs
I think it’s cool. The Oscars are bullshit, there is no need to pretend to be humble about it. It’s refreshing compared to a lot of the other boring PR rounds people make.
we need to hold celebrities to a higher standard (see accountability thread), but at the same time, we need to allow them to not be perfect and humble little angels. i think ppl like Chappell show that it's okay, or perhaps even necessary, to ruffle a few feathers every now and then
on a related note, per my AAA24 membership, i have a free ticket for Marty Supreme i'd be down to give one of y'all for free if anyone's interested. can't redeem it yet, and it can only be used between the 25th and 28th at an AMC, Regal, or Alamo Drafthouse (and maybe Marcus), but it should cover one person if anyone plans on seeing it by themselves. if anyone wants it, lemme know.
If Tim had the best performance of the year then I hope he wins, if not I hope the person that did does. Sorry if this offends.
The good thing about an actor winning an Oscar is that we don't have to hear from the fanatics about how they deserve an award. The years before DiCaprio won were exhausting.
are we just getting around to Timmy discourse? dude's talking like a wide receiver right now let him do his thing. I'm already seated for Marty and Dune 3.
it is shocking that Icarly is the top poster on this site but completely out of the loop on what others have been posting
