Not that surprising, unfortunately. Co-creator and pal Brian Michael Bendis has a producer credit on those films, and a lot of other comic artists (especially Kris Anka) are involved, so I would’ve thought they’d toss Pichelli something. But also, this Big 2 superhero shit often sucks along those lines.

I would be so mad if I spent my entire life as an iconic actor and then I got my lifetime achievement award from Vin Diesel. That's more insulting than no award.

 

We are getting a Bojangles and a Dave's Hot Chicken this month. I've never had either. We had a Church's Chicken for about two months but then it closed before I could get there.

 

Bojangles breakfast sandwiches are really good.

 

Dave's hot is fine but it definitely tastes like the fast food version of what other places do better

 

I don't think I've tried Raising Canes, Dave's Hot Chicken, or any equivalent chain, assuming Popeyes/KFC/Jollibee are its own category

 

I think Dave's is the only hot chicken place that you listed

 

What would be an equivalent?

 

Prince’s and Hattie B’s but don’t know how prevalent they are outside of Tennessee

 

Jollibee chicken and adobo rice is a great combo

 

Jollibee is not here yet. Maybe next time I'm in Orlando.

 

God, i miss Bojangles. Missouri used to have a handful but they all shut down

 

New Bojangles opened near my work this week i think

last time i had it was at a Love’s in Alabama driving from Atlanta to OKC earlier this year

it was fine

 

Kill Bill TWBA was a great time. the time surprisingly went by rather quickly. felt more like 3 hours than 4½. new additions were mostly solid. Crazy 88 fight in color wasn't as gory as everyone made it out to be (no way in hell that would get it an NC-17 in 2025), but it definitely worked better for me than the B&W version

I had to fire someone working in Atlanta and fly out there to pick up their company truck and drive it back and I had to stop at Love’s for gas and my options were limited ok
