I graduated in 2010, took the class fall of junior year so 2008. Which meant we also covered the election. We had a ton of conversations about Sarah Palin obviously. Also just remembered we watched Swing Vote

With streaming, everything takes the logic of traditional television viewership, even when those streaming services have movies on them. People are already paying their subscription, so the key is to keep feeding them the same thing to keep them from letting their subscription lapse. A movie in a theater, or even one you are paying for on demand, has to sell itself to you and an audience in general, so when you take a lot of that out of the equation everything becomes sort of blended together.

Probably the best movie we watched in school was dr strangelove which my crazy awesome physics teacher showed us.

 

Took a film appreciation class in high school. I remember watching monty python and the holy grail, casablanca and driven. We watched driven because the teacher said it's the worst movie ever made.
