When They See Us was criminally under focused, not talked about, got enough awards. I know it's the Netflix effect of new stuff every week but I think when they see us was one of the most impactful things I've seen in a long long time

The episode where Korey imagines he's not in jail destroyed me

 

I've never watched something where I could barely finish it because it tore me up so much. And yeah the korey episode....woah. I cried at the scene where they all got convicted. Little kids lives behind ruined. Awful.

 

T whole series was great, but yea that Korey episode was incredible.

honestly one of the worst shows ever made. not to be dramatic, but i'll never understand why/how anyone liked that show or how it stayed on the air for that long
