Starship Troopers had a retrospective at the Film Society of Lincoln Center a few years ago. It is long past being misunderstood; most people who take film seriously recognize it as a major satire.

I don't watch films again often, but I find myself longing to watch Starship Troopers again at least once a year. It has only become timelier as our politics have become dumber and more degraded.
