Home Alone reboot should be Macaulay Culkin playing a fictional version of himself tracking down Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern and trying to kill them because he has PTSD from those movies.

 

I feel like this has been said before but Home Alone in the age of cell phones makes no sense

 

Same with most horror movies tbh. They manage to come up with some dumb contrived reason for why they don’t work lol

 

Cell phone use in fiction, at least as it relates to potential plot holes, is pretty much always dumb. Just don't acknowledge it at all imo, like who cares. Even just the aspect of eating up time showing a text or text convo is a pain that most movies never bother to creatively convey or work around.

Every movie is "contrived" from a written script Jimmothy, don't you get it?

 

Some movies are documentaries like March Of The Penguins or Shrek

 

Oh yeah and A Bugs Life and Star wars f*ck I forgot.

 

Maybe it’s set in the 80s

 

I've never seen him not come across as likable a single time

Is Marriage Story actually worth watching, like I would have basically no interest in watching it but just the sheer amount of attention it’s received (mostly through twitter jokes but nonetheless) makes me want to check it out more than anything else
