What’s awesome is they did it again with Eric and Jack in “What a Drag” the last season and had the same dynamic with Jack being hit on and Eric being ugly and it was just as funny

 

The Comeback is one of the most brilliant and clever shows ever and does not get its due. So ahead of its time, and the commentary on how aging actresses are treated in hollywood omg. It deserves to be part of the conversation of fantastic shows

 

Also this episode where Frasier says his expensive pretentious door knocker will lead to world peace is the sort of out of touch delusion that makes this show great.

 

The Comeback > Peak Arrested Development

(Only comparing since they were cult shows canceled too soon, not that they’re super similar otherwise)

 

I also think the comeback is one of the few revived shows where the new episodes didn't suck. The series finale is so beautiful I wanna cry just thinking about it!! Ugh it's soooo good.

The Wild Bunch has one of the best endings in history. Such an audacious shootout, especially for the time.

 

Definitely. Remaking it now is totally unnecessary anyway, but with Mel Gibson in charge it’s another level of terrible.

Sounds like a good move. I've never paid much attention to the audience score, though.

 

Me neither. The only time I ever pay any attention to it at all is when there’s a particular controversy. I love the site for how it aggregates and links to every review. It’s been one of my go to sites for years, especially since they added the functionality for looking up showtimes and buying tickets.
