I think that’s a service I’ll be skipping out on the moral grounds of giving Disney as little of my money as possible

Plus... there aren’t really that many Disney owned movies I’m really itching to watch consistently. I guess Fox Searchlight properties, now.

 

It only took them a few years to ruin the promise of a virtual library of movies on demand by forcing people to have eighteen different subscriptions so you can find something you want to see.

 

As much as I hate to feed the Disney beast, I know I'm going to buy it just for the Star Wars content.

 

Star Wars, Simpsons, and the entire Disney/Pixar back catalog for $7/month is a pretty good value for me, especially since I’ll probably drop HBO after Game of Thrones ends.

 

The Simpsons already being on FX really makes this more of a downer for me than anything. It’s like when Hulu lost all the Criterions.

Today i learned that legendary classic film The Swan Princess has seven sequels.

 

I can’t imagine ever wanting to pay a monthly fee to watch Star Wars

 

I've been buying a lot of DVDs so I haven't been streaming as much anymore. Disney+ still looks appealing to me.

 

Streaming has been a real deterrent to me buying movies at all lately. I got like 1 thing on Black Friday and haven't bought a new movie in months

 

I still buy shows and movies that truly matter to me because I’ve seen so many things disappear from streaming over the years. It’s convenient to have that option, but I love having that physical backup. I just wish a few things would come to blu-ray so I could have a higher quality to watch.

 

In college I went thru a phase where I bought lots of shows and stuff and now I just have these movies and boxsets I never ever watch. The OC sets were a Fab purchase tho

 

I rarely buy anything because I almost never watch anything more than once
