Putting American at the front of a movie title almost always means you are going to be subjected to something that is far too self-important for its own good. There are some exceptions, though.

I know this was probably sarcasm, but I actually enjoyed that.

 

No point in seeing it now, really

 

In the saga no one cares about, I’m almost finished with The Americans and I still hate myself for not being there from the start. They’ve made some absolutely inhuman noises come out of me in the last season.

Also I wish Philip Jennings was the meme reaction face go-to instead of Don Draper. Almost every episode he does something that absolutely kills me just with his expression.
