It was objectively funny seeing The Friend and hell of a summer and wondering if they invented meth for 6 year olds they were so amped

 

That’s a low bar when paired with Bill Simmons.

 

I hope Minecraft does well so theaters can continue to book the stuff we like that makes like $15 million in its entire run.

I will not be seeing the Minecraft movie but my buddy took his 6 year old son who is on the spectrum to see the movie and he loved it and had a blast. First movie he watched all the way through at the theater.

 

That alone is enough reason for it to exist

Kids movies should exist. The Minecraft movie should exist. I’m saying that we, as adults, shouldn’t be going to see it without kids and then talking about whether or not it sucked

As much as I can't stand David Zaslav.. but WB needed a win big time and the Minecraft Movie pulled off a big win for them

 

I really enjoyed RLM’s thoughts on it.

They left 40 minutes in. Not because it was that bad (Mike found it charming), but they went with the intent of leaving once they felt they “got” the movie.
