I really get annoyed when people call celebrities by their first name but now I guess I can call them Sofia and Uncle Frank.

 

If it was on his list I would of heard of it

 

So I flipped on TV and end of Wheel of Fortune was on so i watched it, and then that Tim Allen/Kat Dennings show came on. It's not good, but I didn't realize how many people were in this show, including Jenna Elfman and her Fear the Walking Dead costar Daryl Mitchell (who I forgot was actually paralyzed and that wasn't just a show thing for Fear), and Sean William Scott lol....

but anyway, and I feel like this is something I've noticed before with other shows too---I'm like 75% sure they're using the exact same set as the George Lopez show. The house is the exact same set up just different look/furniture, and the car shop that Tim Allen's character works at looks eactly like the factory floor or wherever it was that George Lopez worked in his show.

I'm unsure how much of a loser I feel like for recognizing this.

Funny you bring up Wheel. Today we were reading “Sorry, Right Number”, a screenplay by Stephen King for Tales From the Darkside. And he had a couple pop culture references in it with footnotes (explaining what Cheers and Wings are, the Hindenburg etc.). It was probably published for a textbook in the early to mid 00s, when kids might not know them. The kids are watching Wheel and one of them says she “loves Vanna”. No footnote, so I ask the kids if they know what she’s talking about. 0 of them know Vanna White, but the book that published it in like 2008 thought it was a common enough reference not to include a footnote.

Honestly her work rate and work ethic is just second to none!! I am sure I read in an interview a few years ago and she was planning on taking time off but ended up signing on to a bunch of projects anyways!
