Honestly had no idea Archie had actual comics or storylines, I thought they were just like mascots on candy wrappers

I dipped out at the beginning of season 4 when a dude flew away on a rocket, but I was hate watching pretty much all of season 2 and 3.
I had a friend that liked season 1 and one night I had him watch the season 3 finale with no context. I highly recommend you do the same. Season 1 episode 1, and then random episodes from later on to see how batshit they get

 

I’ve only ever seen them in line at grocery stores and that was years and years ago

 

With how much relatively older this forum skews, I’m kinda surprised some didn’t know Archie Comics existed. They’re far from the establishment they were in decades past (though you can still get Archie digests at Walmart), but it’s not uncommon to hear that someone learned to read in part from reading Archie’s.

 

Stoked for that. Theater Camp is incredible.

 

I would always see Archie in the grocery store line when I was a kid. That and the Seinfeld joke is all I really knew about them.

 

With Disney being in the habit of reviving old TV IP for Hulu, I wonder if there are any conversations going on right now about bringing back Lost.

It would be a horrible idea, but like i can see them pointing to Severance and being like "Mystery box dramas are sooo in right now"

 

Lord, I hope not. I think all the Lost rip-off shows showed that it was lightning in a bottle.

There have been articles and ideas about a LOST reboot, yes. It's been talked about for years though, so it likely fell apart

 

Tried to rewatch lost a few years ago and it’s a slog trying to binge it. So much of nothing happens. Those long seasons suck. Gave up in season 2.

 

That’s the biggest barrier for me. I could watch a 20+ episode season when it’s airing. But trying to binge it all together is rough.

 

Also Iger has always been weirdly hostile towards Lost despite it's success so there is that.

 

Nothing to do with Iger, but they do court controversy with that story about how terrible that show was to its POC writers and cast. Lindelof seemed genuinely regretful for that and Carlton Cuse, who seems to be the real asshole, just said he doesn’t remember it being that way and that no one complained to him, but he’s sorry.

 

Great cast, but this movie looks terrible.

 

LOST is great. Rewatched it last year. Love it.

 

nickel boys was great. hope ross continues to do more narrative features.
