I saw people's predictions about 2025 in general so I thought I do my predictions of 2025.. Entertainment edition :

Superman will be a critical and financial success with Nicholas Holt being the stand out as Lex Luther

Matt Reeves announced that the script for next Batman film is done and it's one big story split into 2 movies and being shot back to back

The length of episodes of the final season of Stranger Things will be 1hr and 30mins each with the final ever episode is over 2 hours long

Eddie Murphy finally announces his first stand up tour in decades

More filmmakers will turn down big money offers from streamers and stick with theatrical releases instead

The Brutalist will win Best Picture, Director, Actor for Adrien Brody and Demi Moore will cause the biggest upset of the night winning Best Actress at the Oscars after Mikey Madison would be cleaning up all the other best actress awards prior to it plus Guy Pearce will win Best supporting actor and use his speech to talk about what's happening in Gaza and ends his speech with Free Palestine

Thunderbolts* will be the most crowd pleasing superhero film of the year

Fantastic 4 will be the best big screen adaptation of all the other films and Robert Downey Jr. Will appear in the mid credit scene.

The Smashing Machine will shock and suprise everyone in a great way and will be a major player in the 2025/2026 awards race with Dwayne Johnson putting on a career defining, transformative performance as Mark Kerr that will prove all the naysayers wrong and he will be the first wrestler turned actor to get nominated for the major acting awards.. including the oscar for best actor in 2026

Eminem will make his actual acting return as the lead in a movie or a TV show

 

Beloved celebrities will do a TikTok collaboration against some extreme measure Trump has taken. It will be cringy and make no difference.

Travis Kelce will star in a movie that will go straight to streaming on, let’s say, the Roku Channel.

 

There will be a new Twink and brunette girl I need to learn the name of after they're in every movie

 

My 2025 prediction is that I’ll continue to skim past most Azz posts.

i unfortunately think you're right.

i also have no clue what's gonna happen with that movie, but based on the few plot points i've heard, i suspect this film might be another case of AI apologetics and i'm upset that NIN would even be remotely involved with that.

I scrolled for awhile under that tweet and nobody explained it. Like, yes, someone said her name was Amber, but how is that a twist? Nobody seems to want to say it.

After reading wiki, I don’t understand how it was a twist. Again, that’s based on a wiki summary, it may have left out info.

 

Also, based on that summary alone, that shows sounds insane.

 

Don’t remember a ton about House, so this still doesn’t help. It did have a couple top-to-bottom excellent episodes.

 

Oh that's House's Head/Wilson's Heart, right? sort of a two parter season finale. Some seasons are better than others but most of the time they end on a high note

iirc the last scene is him still having the Amber hallucinations as it’s becoming clear the Vicodin addiction is starting to take its toll

 

I did try to watch an episode to see what it's like and Mr Beast has zero charisma or personality to host in general.

 

i know nothing about mr. beast and i will be keeping it that way

 

I don't either but YouTube algorithms keeps bringing up reaction videos of his game show so I thought I see what the fuss is all about and... Nah he has zero personality as a game show host.
